We like to say we're "sunbirds", not "snowbirds". We're based out of South Dakota and travel the country, stopping in the Desert Southwest to enjoy the generally warm winters before taking off for parts unknown during the rest of the year.
This Blog is primarily for family and friends to keep up on what and how we're doing, and where, providing a little more substance than Facebook and Twitter.

"Earth Hour" Update

We had a nice quiet hour with some candles on the patio. Unclear how many people around us observed, since half go to bed before 8:00 PM and the other half leave the lights on all night for security. ;-)
